Play for Theo - a prisoner forced to work in mines, which manages to get out of there with the help of a cat hook. You will meet Lana and a group of runaway slaves who will offer you a plan of escape from the island. You agree, but nothing could prepare you for what awaits you.

The unique hook-and-cat system in The Free Ones allows you to advance through the levels, moving through the air. Use its inertia to rush into the air and cover long distances at dizzy heights. Everything that is made of wood can help you. Learn to use the environment to gain an advantage, and move towards the goal wisely.

Shakhty is an original and diverse playground. Climb up the wooden buildings. Use trolleys and moving boxes to swing and overcome distances. Climb to the roofs of the trains, rushing at full speed. Get down on the rivers, clinging to everything that floats around, and fly through the waterfalls.
